glossary:

Blueprint- A photo print made from stripped-up film negatives or  positives that is used as a proof to check the position of page elements before printing. Also called a blueprint

copyright- the right to sell or retain an artiest peace of work.

cover - the front outside page that tells us about the magazine called cover 1.

colour scheme- a selection of colours used in the se design of the magazine.

edit- To modify and correct a manuscript to conform to the publisher's standards.

font- a complete type face in any shape or size.

formate- (noun) the size, style, number of pages and other printing requirements.

genre- this is a set subject to what a magazines going to be about film, fashion, cars creative.

graphic- Any illustrative element in a page layout, such as a photograph, illustration, icon, ruled line, or any other non-text element.

masthead- a section with in a newspaper or magazine that shows a list on subscriptions details and publication staff.

headline- a large bold set of text placed at the top of a page or an article to describe what it is about.

illustration- this is a line art drawing and can be used to describe artistic photographs

target audience- this is the age range or genre to what people are into and who they want to sell the magazine to.

serif- a certain type of type face that have little strokes at the edge of the letters.

sans Serif- this is the opposite type of text from serif.
